  • 1: DNA Line Dancing

    This activity provides students with a fun activity to explain the shape and function of DNA.

  • 2: Extracting DNA

    This experiment provides a guide for students to extract DNA from strawberries, and is a good introduction to the topic of what DNA is.

  • 3: Plant Tissue Culture

    In this activity students produce clones (exact genetic copies) of a cauliflower plant by tissue culture.

  • 4: Oil Eating Bacteria

    In this experiment students investigate the potential of microbial populations in soil to degrade toxic chemicals such as oil.
