Big Blue Button

Bug Blue Button is an open source virtual classroom technology which is fully integrated with Moodle. During 2013 SATA will be conducting trials with Big Blue Button alongside WiZiQ in our webinars. 
The user experience of the two platforms is quite similar. The main difference from a participant's point of view is that each user will need to login on the ASTA portal to participate in the webinar.

Moodle is designed as a learning management system. A course is a page of resources related to a particular topic.

Enrolment in a course gives a user access to the resources contained in that course.

What is Moodle? (Video)

WiZiQ

WiZiQ is a virtual classroom technology which enables presenters and participants to interact online seminars (webinars) and meetings. Sessions can include presentation slides, video and sound sharing, Q&A sessions and participant feedback.
