GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a single internationally agreed system of classification and labelling of chemicals, which was developed under the auspices of the United Nations. It will be introduced and become madatory in all states of Australia by 1 January 2012.
